Orders, Product Availability, and Payment

Because of the manner or locations in which the products are distributed, the services are rendered, or due to an error, some of the products and services may not be available to you at all, or at the prices indicated. Prices and product or service availability are subject to change without notice. According to current law, we must collect all applicable taxes based on the items purchased, the ship to address, and/or the location of the selected store for order pickup. If there is no sales tax on your receipt, you are still liable for the sales tax on your purchase. Use tax is imposed in some states and must be paid by the purchaser unless otherwise exempt. Please check your state’s sales and use tax laws. We are currently unable to accept online orders exempt from sales tax through the CA Automobiles website. Please bring your proof of exemption to your local CA Automobiles location to make your exempt in-store purchase. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to I limit the number of items purchased per person, per household, or per order; (ii) refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including violation of these Terms of Use or any other Pep Boys policy; (iii) restrict or terminate your account or use of this Web site for any reason; (iv) prohibit sales to dealers or resellers; or (v) require the purchase of a certain quantity of tyres or tyre installation. We will make every effort to notify you if such restrictions are imposed. Furthermore, certain items may be prohibited or restricted from sale or transportation under state and federal laws, rules, or regulations. As a result, some items may only be available for in-store pickup at specific locations or may require proof of age. CA Automobiles does not intentionally sell items to anyone under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, you must have the assistance of a parent or guardian to complete your transaction.

Pricing is not guaranteed until the website’s checkout process is completed. You agree to accept and pay for the item(s) you ordered by confirming your purchase at the end of the checkout process on the website. We authorize the charge card payment when you complete the order on the website, unless you select the “buy online, pay in store” option. We debit your credit card account and accept your order when you complete the checkout process in the store for all pickup-in-store and Tread Smart orders. For ship-to-home orders, I debit and check cards will be charged in full when you complete your order online, and (ii) credit cards will be charged in full when your order is shipped from our fulfilment centre. CA Automobiles does not accept ship-to-home orders until your order has been shipped from our fulfilment centre. For orders that ship the same day they are placed, you may see an authorization and a charge appear on your statement; the authorization is normally released within 3-5 days, depending on your individual bank’s policies.

We may require additional verification or information in some cases before accepting your order. In that case, a representative from our Customer Service department will contact you.

We can only accept credit cards, check cards, and debit cards as tender at this time. Orders placed online cannot use multiple tender types or promotional codes. Additional rules and regulations regarding the use of your specific promotional code can be found in the rules of your specific promotional code.

All billing and registration information must be true and correct. Providing false or inaccurate information is a violation of these Terms of Service.
